Lights up for your new theater adventure
On Friday, October 30, 2026, the Puppet Ship Mainaschaff opens its doors for everyone who wants to not only watch theater but also help create it. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the trial rehearsal with information evening invites you to experience the theater atmosphere, get to know creative tasks, and experience the unique ambiance of a puppet theater up close.
Where curiosity transforms into a stage experience
A theater production begins long before the first performance. In the Puppet Ship, puppet play, stage design, technology, organization, and precise processes come together. The trial rehearsal shows how many individual activities create a lively stage space and a cohesive production.
Many roles behind the curtain
Whether puppet play, stage construction, repairs, technology, cleaning, bar, or entrance: each task contributes to the art of the stage. The information evening is aimed at people of all ages who enjoy acting, craftsmanship, organization, or community engagement. No prior knowledge is required.
Theater atmosphere to try out
The Puppet Ship combines skilled theatrical work with close proximity to the audience. Between figures, materials, light, and stage technology, a sensory stage experience emerges that makes the dramaturgy of theater palpable from a new perspective. Instead of passively sitting in the audience, interested individuals can take their first steps behind the scenes and find out which place in the theater team suits them.
An open evening for young and old
Participation is free and non-binding. The Theater in der Krone e. V. invites you to experience the community of the Puppet Ship and discover a possible new heartfelt hobby. Registration is requested via email at mail@puppenschiff.de or by phone at 06021-76776.
Conclusion: Help shape theater yourself
The trial rehearsal and information evening provide an immediate look behind the curtain. Anyone who wants to experience theater atmosphere, puppet play, and creative teamwork up close will find an inspiring entry point in the Puppet Ship Mainaschaff. Now register, get a taste of theater, and perhaps become part of this small big theater world.
