Spieltaculum 2026: Great game joy for small and large explorers

Spieltaculum 2026: A colorful game day for the whole family

When dice roll, cards are shuffled, and children discover new game worlds together, the Kulturforum Alzenau will become a meeting point for families on November 8, 2026. At Spieltaculum, both big and small game fans will experience a varied day from 10 AM to 7 PM, centered around board games, card games, role-playing games, and creative game ideas.

Playing together, marveling, and discovering new things

Spieltaculum invites families to try out games in a relaxed atmosphere and spend time together. Numerous board and card games from the publishers Kosmos, Pegasus Spiele, Ravensburger, and Amigo are ready for play. Beginners will find suitable game ideas just like experienced game fans.

Becoming creative in the game workshop

In the game workshop of the youth center Jump In, children will design their own game and paint it with plenty of imagination. This also includes a matching die. This creative learning experience combines the joy of designing with child-friendly learning: children develop their own ideas, make decisions, and experience how a concept becomes a playable result.

Imaginative game worlds for different age groups

Special gaming moments are promised by the role-playing rounds of Dungeons & Dragons. Fans of Star Wars and Wild West adventures will also find something for themselves. In the tabletop game Freebooter’s Fate, miniatures and tactical skill take center stage. The traditional Werewolf game adds excitement, communication, and collaborative puzzling.

Discovering games and promoting tactical thinking

At the Mindbug tournament, participants can try out tactical thinking and forward planning. The Alzenau game inventor Marvin Hegen will personally present his game. Bernd Kunkel will showcase games from Elznir Games. This creates a diverse learning experience for children and parents, playfully supporting concentration, creativity, and social development.

Family-friendly atmosphere at the Kulturforum Alzenau

Spieltaculum is organized by the Alzenau city library in collaboration with the youth center Jump In. The offerings cater to big and small game fans and create space for playing together, curious experimentation, and encounters between different generations. The GesangVerein Frohsinn 1898 e. V. Alzenau will take care of the culinary needs.

A family experience with fun learning and children's laughter

Playing strengthens communication, creativity, and joint problem-solving. At Spieltaculum, families experience these educationally valuable aspects very practically: children explain rules, develop strategies, negotiate game moves, and rejoice in shared successes. Parents also receive many suggestions for new games and shared family time.

Spieltaculum combines children's laughter, curiosity, and fun learning with the diversity of modern board, card, and role-playing games. Families can expect a lively day full of discoveries, creative ideas, and shared experiences. Those who want to experience games not just at home but in a large community will find a special meeting point at the Kulturforum Alzenau.
