ONE DAY Ladencafè – PLACE OF KINDNESS | Reviews & Photos
ONE DAY Ladencafè – PLACE OF KINDNESS in Aschaffenburg is much more than a classic café: The official presentation describes the place as a family café and charity shop, as a central contact point for the association and as a meeting place where guests can not only drink coffee but also learn about the work of ONE DAY, discover gifts, gather information, and spend time together. This very mix of enjoyment, encounters, and good purpose shapes the search intent behind terms like photos, reviews, address, opening hours, parking, and family café. Those searching for this place want to know not only what is served but also what values underpin it and why the visit has a social added value. According to ONE DAY, the proceeds from the café and shop go directly into the projects of the association, which is committed to children's and human rights and is active beyond Germany in Europe and Africa. This makes the café a locally visible expression of a globally conceived project: friendly, approachable, fair, and with a clear mission. ([oneday.de](https://oneday.de/ladencafe/))
Reviews, Photos, and First Impressions
The keyword focus on photos and reviews shows that many visitors evaluate the ONE DAY Ladencafè not only practically but also atmospherically. Public platforms present photo galleries and show a very positive overall impression; on well-known third-party sites, the rating is 4.9 out of 5, which is remarkable for a place with a clear social profile. The reviews repeatedly emphasize the warm, loving atmosphere, as well as the friendly service, relaxed ambiance, and good cappuccino. These points are important for organic search because they make the difference between an arbitrary café and a place with identity. Those searching for Place of Kindness do not want an interchangeable gastro profile but a space that appears sympathetic, human, and credible. The official ONE DAY presentation further underscores this impression with an impressions section, thus with a consciously maintained visual appearance that positions the café as an inviting place with gift ideas, encounters, and social added value. For SEO, this means: The first impression is not only visual but emotional. The theme of photos stands for atmosphere, decor, radiance, and the desire to better categorize the place before the visit. The reviews, in turn, reinforce this impression because they make the personal perception of guests visible and translate the social idea behind the concept into concrete experience. Address, Opening Hours, and Contact
For local searches, the address and opening hours are the central user signals. The official ONE DAY page states that the café is located at Steingasse 8 and lists the location as 63741 Aschaffenburg; other local directories also place the business at Steingasse 8, sometimes with the postal code 63739. Practically, it is especially important that it is a central location in the Aschaffenburg city center, which is easy to remember and suitable for foot traffic as well as targeted visits. The opening hours are clear and regular: Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday closed. This is particularly relevant for search queries like opening hours, today, when open, or open on Saturdays, as visitors can immediately align their planning with this information. Additionally, the official page lists the email address hello@oneday.de as direct contact; a local directory also provides the phone number +49 6021 4575757. For content and SEO, this combination of clear location, reliable times, and easy contact options is ideal because it covers the most common informational questions that a local searcher has before a visit. The placement in Steingasse is also helpful because the street itself appears in many directories as an inner-city location with a gastronomic environment. This strengthens the perception that the café can be easily integrated into a city tour, shopping trip, or family afternoon. ([oneday.de](https://oneday.de/ladencafe/))
History and Social Concept
The history of ONE DAY is an essential part of the brand character and thus also of the search relevance. The association was founded in 2014 by Saskia Schmidt, with the aim of opening up better opportunities for children and young people and practically strengthening children's and human rights. On the official About Us page, ONE DAY is described as a young, non-profit association from Aschaffenburg that works under the motto think global, act local and supports projects in Germany as well as in crisis regions worldwide. Particularly important for the café is the hybrid model: In June 2021, the ONE DAY Purpose over Profit GmbH was founded as a 100% subsidiary so that the association can operate economically without losing its non-profit mission. This structure was the basis for the opening of the ONE DAY café – Place of Kindness in September 2021. Thus, the place combines trade, encounters, and social, especially local engagement under one roof. This is not just nice storytelling but a robust explanation for the strong brand that stands behind the café. Every purchase, every visit, and every coffee becomes part of a system in which economic activity is not an end in itself but a means to finance projects. References to sustainability and the 17 goals for sustainable development fit into this as well. The café thus becomes a visible, accessible form of social business: not loud, not aggressive, but human and consistent. This attitude makes the place interesting for reviews, photos, and experiences because visitors can not only read the values but also experience them. ([oneday.de](https://oneday.de/about-us/))
Directions and Parking in Steingasse
The journey to the ONE DAY Ladencafè is especially an important topic for visitors with cars, as many search queries directly target parking and access. The official website does mention the address and opening hours but does not indicate a dedicated parking garage or explicitly associated parking space. It can be cautiously inferred that the café primarily functions as an inner-city address with public infrastructure, and visitors should plan their arrival more through the surrounding parking options. Several options are mentioned in local street and parking directories around Steingasse that are within walking distance. These include a DB Bahn Park at Ludwigstraße 2 about 542 meters away, a Saba parking garage at Goldbacher Straße 2 about 629 meters away, and the DB BahnPark parking lot Kolbornstraße P3 about 657 meters away. Practically, this means: Those arriving by car should plan for a short inner-city walk and choose one of the surrounding parking garages depending on the time of day. This is typical in a centrally located street like Steingasse and is actually an advantage because the café is thus situated right in the urban action. At the same time, the location makes visits by public transport or on foot obvious, as the surroundings of Aschaffenburg's city center are easily accessible. For content about parking, it is important not to promise more than the sources provide: There are no officially highlighted in-house parking spaces, but there are several public alternatives within a manageable distance. This clarity helps users who want to quickly decide where to park their car or how much time they need to plan for the journey. ([oneday.de](https://oneday.de/ladencafe/))
Events, Workshops, and Family Offers
Another strong keyword theme around ONE DAY Place of Kindness is events and family offers, and this is where the special breadth of the concept is evident. The official café text explicitly states that visitors can also find information about the work of ONE DAY here, participate in workshops, and attend events. On the project pages, this statement becomes concrete: A Place to Feed is a breastfeeding and nutrition café designed as a safe space for pregnant women and mothers in Aschaffenburg, opening every Monday from 09:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Experienced midwives accompany the visitors, offer advice, and create a calm space for exchange, safety, and orientation around pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and child nutrition. Thus, the café becomes not only a place for coffee but a social meeting point with real everyday relevance. Another example is the ONE DAY Kids Club, described as an inclusive and educationally accompanied offer for children aged 4 to 12, taking place every two weeks in the café. The content revolves around children's rights, participation, protection, education, and participation, which are topics that are equally exciting for families and education enthusiasts. These events are strong for SEO because they create concrete usage occasions: Parents search for family-friendly offers, regional visitors for programs, and engaged people for meaningful formats. Therefore, it is important for the description of the location that the café should not be reduced to the function of a classic serving place. It is a meeting space where social projects, counseling, family life, and local community intertwine. This gives the location depth and explains why it appears so diversely in searches. ([oneday.de](https://oneday.de/ladencafe/))
Charity Shop, ONE DAY Coffee, and Product Range
Those searching for ONE DAY Ladencafè are often also interested in the product range and the question of what else can be found there besides coffee. The official page provides a clear answer: The café is both a charity shop and a sales location for its own ONE DAY collection. Visitors find small and larger gift ideas, fairly conceived clothing with a clear message, and products that directly support the social purpose. The shop is therefore not a side show but part of the concept. Particularly exciting is also the ONE DAY Coffee, which according to the official product page comes from Tanzania, consists of 100% Arabica beans from organic farming, and is described with notes of red berries, citrus fruits, and whole milk chocolate. The coffee is suitable for fully automatic machines, filters, French press, Chemex, and Aeropress and can be purchased both in the café and online. This extends the brand into the enjoyment moment: Those who drink on-site can take the product home later and carry on the social idea. For SEO, this is particularly valuable because the search intentions around Place of Kindness are not limited to a single usage profile. Some search for a cozy break, others for a gift, and others for sustainable coffee or fair clothing. This breadth should also be visible in the content. The café thus stands for enjoyment with added value, for shopping with attitude, and for a connection between local presence and global responsibility. Combined with the official donation goals and the fact that all proceeds flow into the projects of ONE DAY e.V., a coherent picture emerges: The product range is not only sales-oriented but value-oriented. This makes the location unique and explains why it is often perceived as particularly warm and conscious in reviews. ([oneday.de](https://oneday.de/ladencafe/))
