Lindighalle | Events & Parking

The Lindighalle in Karlstein-Dettingen is a sports and event hall firmly established in the locality, located at Am Sportplatz 6. The Dettingen gymnastics club describes it in its club history as a project that the club significantly shaped; in 2001, the new double gymnasium and a strength and fitness room were put into operation. Today, the hall is much more than a training location. It is part of the local infrastructure of Dettingen, used by TV Dettingen, the municipality, and various local groups, and thus appears in very different search queries, from event programs to parking, photos, and hall occupancy plans. The municipality lists the Lindighalle in its overview of recreational facilities as a hall used for community and sports, while the club's page of TV Dettingen shows how closely the hall, club life, and course operations are interconnected. This very mix makes the Lindighalle one of the most important addresses in the area. ([tvdettingen.de](https://www.tvdettingen.de/verein-1/geschichte/))

Events and Program in the Lindighalle

Those searching for events, programs, or event dates in the Lindighalle will find not a narrowly limited offer, but a very broad mix of events. The official pages of the municipality show that the hall is regularly used for cultural and community formats. These include, for example, the spring concert of the Harmonie Dettingen music club, which was explicitly announced to take place in the Lindighalle in 2025, as well as the MOVE format, where choir and wind orchestra perform together. Toy and clothing bazaars of the Kita Regenbogenland also take place in the Lindighalle, as do information events organized by the municipality, for example, regarding the split wastewater fee, and meetings or town hall sessions in the foyer of the hall. This is important for search queries related to programs, today's dates, or event calendars because the Lindighalle is not just a classic sports hall, but a versatile meeting point for culture, clubs, and citizens. The official announcements also show that some events are very family-oriented, featuring cake buffets, participatory offers, and free admission, while other events are more concert-like or informative. This creates a picture of a hall that is played differently throughout the year and whose program remains closely connected to village life. Tickets, Advance Sale, and Box Office

The question about tickets is also one of the most common search queries when people look for the Lindighalle. It is important to note: There is not one uniform ticketing process for the hall itself, but always the respective procedure for the specific event. The municipality points out in its cultural calendar that tickets are available in advance at the municipal library, and other advance sales points are mentioned in the newsletter. For individual events in the Lindighalle, there is also a box office and sometimes discounted tickets available on-site, such as for the concert format MOVE. For the spring concert of the music club, various advance sales points were mentioned, including a bakery, butcher, and municipal library. For seekers, it is particularly helpful to search not only for the hall but also for the respective event name. This way, one can quickly recognize whether admission is free, whether tickets need to be reserved in advance, or whether access is through the box office. This flexible handling of admission and advance sales is typical for a hall that hosts both club events and municipal dates and cultural evenings. Therefore, those looking for Lindighalle tickets should keep the event title in mind and read the information from the municipality or the organizing club. Directions to the Lindighalle in Karlstein-Dettingen

The official address of the Lindighalle is Am Sportplatz 6, 63791 Karlstein am Main, district Dettingen. This is the most important reference point for directions. The municipality lists the hall in its overview of recreational facilities, and TV Dettingen mentions the same address on its contact page. The municipal planning documents describe the area surrounding the hall very clearly: to the north lies the Lindighalle, to the west runs the Hanauer Landstraße, and to the east is the street Am Sportplatz, which serves as an access road for the adjacent commercial and sports area. According to planning, a safe crossing of the state road is possible for pedestrians and cyclists at the roundabout near the Lindighalle, and a direct access from the forecourt is planned from the north. For visitors, this practically means: Those arriving by car, bicycle, or on foot should best orient themselves to the street Am Sportplatz and the surroundings of the sports area, rather than a large central event address with long-distance signs. The Lindighalle is thus a typical local and club hall, where access is via the local road network. This makes orientation easy if you enter the address into the navigation device before starting. Parking at the Lindighalle and around Am Sportplatz

The topic of parking is also central to the Lindighalle, as many visitors specifically search for it. The municipal documents explicitly mention a parking lot assigned to the hall. It is also described that additional parking spaces are available along the street Am Sportplatz and that there are further parking options in front of the Lindighalle. In the planning documents for the area surrounding the hall, the area is even treated as a parking and parking space area with sports use. This shows that parking is not a secondary issue here, but part of the developed hall infrastructure. For visitors with children, older guests, or bulky equipment, this is an important advantage, as the distances remain short and the hall is directly adjacent to the sports and club grounds. At the same time, the documents make it clear that the regular parking spaces for the sports facility can only be accessed from the street Am Sportplatz. For this reason, it is worthwhile to check the access in advance and to plan some buffer time for larger events. The Lindighalle is not a place with a large parking garage, but a local sports and event solution with hall parking, peripheral parking spaces, and immediate proximity to the sports fields. Those looking to park at the Lindighalle usually want to know quickly whether they can park directly at the hall, and the answer is: yes, there are parking options directly at the hall and in the immediate vicinity. Hall Occupancy Plan, Foyer, and Equipment

For many search queries, the Lindighalle is not just an address but a concretely used space with an occupancy plan, foyer, and changing usage. On the contact page of TV Dettingen, a hall occupancy plan is linked as a PDF, which shows that the hall is organized and regularly planned in club life. The club history also describes the Lindighalle as part of a larger offering: On the upper floor is the Vitalis sports studio with panoramic windows, 25 specialized devices, and six computer-controlled cardio machines. Additionally, TV Dettingen mentions the Lindighalle itself, the lawn area, the school gym, the outdoor area, the TV office, the Anton-Wombacher-Haus, and the Lindigwald as training facilities. For search terms like seating plan or layout plan, it is important to understand that the Lindighalle is not a classic theater stage with a fixed hall plan, but a flexible hall whose seating and room layout can vary depending on the event. This is precisely where its utility lies: it can be used one evening for a concert, the next day for a bazaar, and later for sports or club operations. The municipal side also lists the Lindighalle as one of the municipal halls available for sports activities. This makes it clear that equipment and occupancy are not static but part of a vibrant, multifunctional usage concept. ([tvdettingen.de](https://www.tvdettingen.de/kontakt/))

History and Special Features of the Lindighalle

The history of the Lindighalle is closely linked to the Dettingen gymnastics club and local club development. On the club's page, it is stated that with the beginning of the new millennium, a new chapter was opened, and in September 2001, the new double gymnasium and the strength and fitness room were put into operation. At the same time, TV Dettingen describes that the Lindighalle was a project of the club itself, in which the club was significantly involved. This is an important feature because the hall does not appear as an interchangeable functional building but as an identity-forming place of club life. The history also shows that the Lindighalle has not remained isolated since its inception: it is embedded in the area around the sports field, is closely related to the club offerings, and was later also used for events and official occasions. The municipal planning documents additionally emphasize that to the north of the Lindighalle, an area is adjacent that contains the parking lot assigned to hall users, and that the fire brigade access for the hall must be kept clear in the surrounding area. This underscores how central the hall is to the entire area. Therefore, anyone visiting the Lindighalle quickly realizes that it is not just a room with an address but a piece of local everyday history. It connects sports, volunteer work, municipal use, and culture to a place that plays a clear role in the village landscape of Dettingen. Photos, Correct Spelling, and Common Search Queries

In search queries related to the Lindighalle, it is noticeable that many people are looking for photos, the correct spelling, and quick orientation. The official spelling is Lindighalle, and it appears as such on the contact page of TV Dettingen as well as in the municipality's overview. The search term Lindachhalle therefore seems to be a common spelling variant that leads to the same hall in Dettingen in practice. Those searching for photos usually want to get an initial visual impression of the building, the forecourt, or the atmosphere at events. The official pages of TV Dettingen and the municipality embed images at several points, so one can at least get a first visual impression there. In the found municipal and club pages, the Lindighalle is also repeatedly marked as an event location, for example, for concerts, bazaars, citizen information, and club offerings. For this reason, search queries like Lindighalle Karlstein, Lindighalle Dettingen, Lindighalle photos, Lindighalle program, or Lindighalle parking are so close to what visitors really want to know. They do not want an abstract hall profile but concrete information about location, dates, and usage. Therefore, the hall is best categorized through the official pages of the municipality and the gymnastics club, as these are maintained directly from the local operation. Yesterday's children's clothing bazaar was well organized, and the hall was very clearly laid out. There was plenty to keep the children entertained, and the coffee and cake were excellent. The sausages were also very good.

I went to watch a football tournament for children aged 5 to 7 in the sports hall. The multi-purpose field is of good quality, it also has a grandstand, the toilets are excellent, and food and drinks are also provided. Great!
