A beautiful biergarten up in the hills overlooking Aschaffenburg. In the summer, this is the site hosting Kippenburgfest, which is a festival that lasts several days and features music, beer, and traditional German food - what's not to love? Community atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, lights in the trees at night. I would definitely recommend going at this time. However, during the rest of the year it is a bit empty. Still, it is nice to see the castle in the middle of the woods - it is quite a magical location.

A very interesting and atmospheric place on Godelsberg in Aschaffenburg. Here you can find the historic tower ruin Kippenburg, built in the 19th century as a viewpoint. Nearby is the famous viewpoint Teufelskanzel, which offers a beautiful view of the city and the Main valley. Sometimes various events and festivals take place here, like Kippenburgfest. A great place for nature walks, relaxation, and beautiful city panoramas. I definitely recommend checking it out. Wishing everyone peace and love 😊

The Kippenburg Festival takes place three times a year, always from Friday to Monday, at Godelsberg near the hospital. You can sit outside or under the covered area. There's live music on Saturdays and Sundays. A small parking lot is located below the festival grounds, and the path leads uphill through the woods in about 15 minutes. A variety of food is available, both hot and cold, depending on the day. Prices are reasonable and the same as last year.
