Youth Culture Center Aschaffenburg | Program & Directions

The Youth Culture Center JUKUZ in Aschaffenburg is much more than a single event venue: It is the central institution of the municipal youth work of the city and has emerged since 1996 from the merging of various areas. On the official website, the house describes itself as a meeting place for children, teenagers, and young adults, where concerts, workshops, counseling services, theater performances, leisure activities, and open meetings come together. In addition to the central house on Kirchhofweg, youth meeting places in Nilkheim, Gailbach, and Schweinheim, as well as the adventure land Buntberg, belong to the JUKUZ cosmos. This creates a network that covers not just a building, but several places for encounters, creativity, and leisure. That is why many people search for terms like program, hall, directions, parking, youth house, or rehearsal rooms: JUKUZ bundles all these topics in one place and connects cultural programs with social youth work, practical spaces, and low-threshold offers for different age groups. Events, Program, and Open Meetings

Those who visit JUKUZ Aschaffenburg online quickly notice that not only punctual events take place here, but a lively weekly schedule with fixed offers and changing specials is maintained. The homepage shows the Open Meeting in the youth house, the times for breakdancing in the event hall, creative offers in the workshop, and other formats aimed at different age groups. The website also displays current events, including concert, creative, and cultural dates, making the calendar suitable for both spontaneous visits and targeted weekly planning. This is particularly important for search queries about the program because JUKUZ is not just a place for individual evening events, but a house with recurring daytime offers, workshops, and cultural formats. The Open Meeting in the youth house runs from Tuesday to Thursday from 1 PM to 8 PM and even until 9 PM on Fridays; additionally, there are age groupings for children and teenagers as well as specific event timeframes. The homepage also repeatedly mentions specific events, such as concert evenings, a hub course, or youth theater, which very well illustrates the versatility of the house. JUKUZ is thus a location where the word program truly comes to life: from open afternoons to music and movement to cultural events in the evening. ([jukuz.de](https://www.jukuz.de/))

Event Hall, Tickets, and Hall Rental

The event hall is one of the main reasons why JUKUZ appears in searches for concerts, culture, and workshops in Aschaffenburg. The official hall page lists complete technical equipment with sound and lighting systems, a mobile bar, hall seating, cloakrooms, and foyer area. Particularly useful for planners is the clear capacity indication: unseated, the room accommodates a maximum of 194 people, seated a maximum of 130 people. This makes the hall large enough for smaller and medium cultural formats, but still compact enough to create an intimate atmosphere. Also important is the usage logic: rentals are possible within the framework of public events for children and teenagers, private celebrations such as weddings or birthdays are expressly not intended. In addition to the rental fee, a deposit and other costs may apply, such as for GEMA or beverage concessions; furthermore, while JUKUZ provides rooms, technology, and an event supervisor, the practical execution lies with the renters. For ticket inquiries, the hall is also interesting because JUKUZ does not provide a central general ticket shop for the room itself on the website, but primarily offers the event calendar and the respective event information. For visitors, this means: tickets, if necessary, depend on the respective event, while the hall itself appears primarily as a flexibly usable cultural space with clear rules and transparent equipment. Directions and Parking at Kirchhofweg

The official address of the Youth Culture Center is Kirchhofweg 2, 63739 Aschaffenburg. This address is repeated on several JUKUZ pages, making orientation easier for guests, parents, groups, and event organizers. It is also important for arrival that the website links to route planning for the various locations and rental areas. This indicates that while JUKUZ clearly addresses its location in the city area, the specific directions are intentionally accessible via the respective route function. On the pages we checked, there is no dedicated, detailed parking page with fixed visitor parking spaces or a separate parking garage listed. In practice, this means: those arriving by car should check the route in advance and plan early for larger events or rentals. Especially since JUKUZ is described as centrally located, the exact traffic situation depends on the respective date and should not be simply assumed. For SEO searches regarding directions and parking, this point is important because users usually seek a direct, honest answer: the house is clearly located on Kirchhofweg and can be easily found via the linked directions, but the website primarily relies on address information and route planning rather than a detailed overview of parking spaces. Youth House, Disco, and Meeting Places for Young People

The youth house is the place in JUKUZ where open youth work becomes particularly tangible. The official page describes it as an open meeting place for children and teenagers with clear time slots and an age structure that is intentionally low-threshold. The Open Meeting starts at 1 PM for kids from 9 years old, at 4 PM for teenagers from 12 years old; events are aimed at teenagers from 14 years old. In addition, there are regular formats such as breakdancing, the youth house café PeroPero, rAinBows as an LGBT*IQ youth initiative, circus offers, and the legal graffiti wall where young people can express themselves creatively. Particularly interesting is the birthday disco: young people between 14 and 27 years can rent the disco room for private parties, which can be used on Saturdays from 6 PM to 1 AM. The rental fee is intentionally kept low, there is a deposit of 100 euros, and for those under 18, the consent of a legal guardian is required. The rules are clearly formulated: respectful interaction, no smoking on the premises, no high-proof alcohol, consideration for the neighborhood, and a clean handover of the room. This combination of freedom and structure makes the youth house particularly suitable for search queries about youth meeting places, disco, parties, and youth houses: it is not just any party room, but a socially embedded place with an educational framework, community reference, and a very specific target group. Creative Workshop, Media Workshop, and Digital Offers

Another major theme block in JUKUZ is creative and media work. In the creative workshop, not just crafting takes place, but working with tools, materials, and guidance. The official description makes it clear that children and families from Aschaffenburg can use open workshops there on Saturdays to do pottery, try woodworking, sew clothes, or implement their own ideas. In addition, there is a monthly newsletter with current information, making the workshop interesting for recurring SEO searches for dates and offers. In the media area, JUKUZ also shows itself to be very versatile: the animation workshop works with stop motion, set construction, figure building, lighting, and microphones, and regularly publishes the results on a YouTube channel. The game workshop goes even further and is aimed at elementary school children as well as advanced digital tinkers. There, coding, programming apps, robots, and planning one's own games are worked on; in the advanced area, even small functioning game apps are created. For search intentions related to creative offers, this is particularly valuable because JUKUZ not only offers analog workshops but also combines digital education, media competence, and playful experimentation. The mix of crafting space, media lab, and modern digital workshop makes the house a place where young people can really implement their ideas instead of just using consumption offers. Rehearsal Rooms, Music Scene, and Children's Culture

For the local music scene, JUKUZ is more than just a venue: it offers rehearsal rooms for young newcomer bands from Aschaffenburg. According to the official page, including a lockable storage room, up to 8 groups are available in 4 rooms, the rental is limited to one year, and in addition to the monthly rent, a deposit is required. This fits very well with search queries for rehearsal rooms, band rooms, and music promotion because not only rooms are rented here, but targeted support for emerging structures is provided. The youth house also complements this musical side with workshops on singing, rapping, and beat making, as well as concerts that are implemented together with the music office and the bar group. At the same time, JUKUZ remains a strong place for children's culture: the children's cultural work is aimed at children from 2 years old, their families, and caregivers, and aims to open access to art and culture for individuals, schools, and daycare centers. Formats include Children's Culture Day, Kunterbunt Children's Stage, Theater Discovery, Circus Nameless, and the Play Café, which connects family offers with cake, snacks, and drinks on selected Sundays. Additionally, there are movement offers, such as the fitness room on Hockstraße with freely usable strength and endurance equipment as well as fixed times for teenagers from 14 years old and endurance training from 10 years old. This creates a comprehensive picture that goes far beyond a classic venue: JUKUZ connects music, stage, movement, play, and family culture in an urban network, remaining relevant for both young bands and families and children. So anyone looking for Aschaffenburg's youth culture, creative spaces, or reliable meeting points for different age groups will find in JUKUZ a remarkably broad and clearly structured point of contact. I was at the 5th CSD on site, and I have to say that such facilities need more support. Whether financially or through volunteering and willingness to help. Those who advocate so strongly for disadvantaged groups need all kinds of assistance. They deserve more than 5 stars.

The annual vegan Christmas market with chill live music, workshops (spice blends, candle decoration) and delicious vegan food is great. Especially the offerings at the attached DIY market are worth seeing. No commercial junk, good craftsmanship at affordable prices.
