Humorbrigade Hofgarten GmbH | Program & Tickets
The Humorbrigade Hofgarten GmbH represents a cultural venue in Aschaffenburg that is much more than just a stage for an evening. Those who visit the Hofgarten experience a location with a clear identity: cabaret, small arts, comedy, word art, and special formats meet here in a historical setting, a central location, and a very personal audience atmosphere. The official website lists the venue as Hofgarten Kabarett at Hofgartenstraße 1A, and the city and tourism websites locate it in the old orangery in Schöntalpark. This mix of history, urban proximity, and vibrant stage activity makes the location highly relevant for inquiries about programs, tickets, directions, parking, seating plans, and capacity. Since 1998, the Hofgarten has been a fixed part of the Aschaffenburg cultural scene; the renovation and profiling of the venue are attributed to Urban Priol, who transformed the historical building into a place for cabaret and small arts. Those searching for photos, events, or the character of the venue are actually looking for a place with profile, recognizability, and a clear cultural signature. ([mein.aschaffenburg.de](https://mein.aschaffenburg.de/kabarett-im-hofgarten/?utm_source=openai))
Program, Tickets & Current Events
When it comes to the program, it quickly becomes clear why the Hofgarten is so attractive to many visitors. The official program page is not just a calendar but the central information source for current dates, monthly overviews, and new pre-sale starts. There, cabaret and comedy evenings, readings, podcast formats, and special events are continuously listed. For the current season, the Hofgarten features, among others, Nektarios Vlachopoulos, Maladée, Lara Ermer, René Sydow, Matthias Brodowy, Michael Feindler, Christian Springer, Alice Köfer, and Stefan Eichner “Das Eich.” Additionally, special formats such as the election forum for the mayoral election or live podcast: Tatort Mainviereck are included. This mix is important for search intentions: those searching for the Hofgarten rarely want just an address but primarily want to know what is specifically on stage, when performances occur, and how to get tickets. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/programm/?utm_source=openai))
The ticket logic of the venue is intentionally both classic and digital. The Hofgarten operates its own pre-sale, provides information on the website about pre-sale locations, and refers to online purchases. This is practical for those who are not only looking for a ticket at the last minute but also plan specifically for certain evenings, dates, or artist names. The program selection also shows that the Hofgarten is not limited to a single genre. In addition to classic cabaret, mixed formats and hybrid shows appear, such as the Queer Stage 2026, where comedy, drag, music, and performance come together. This spectrum makes the stage interesting for a wide audience: regular guests follow their favorite format, new guests discover other forms of small arts, and Aschaffenburg gains a venue that consciously avoids monotony and understands diversity as a program principle. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/vorverkaufstellen/?utm_source=openai))
Directions, Opening Hours & Parking
The directions to the Hofgarten are straightforward because the location is in the middle of Aschaffenburg and can easily be integrated into a city center or evening planning. The official address is Hofgartenstraße 1A, 63739 Aschaffenburg. For visitors arriving by car, the information about parking is particularly important: the house rules mention the parking garage Alexandrastraße, which is about a five-minute walk away. This keeps the distance from the car to the stage short, even if the evening gets late or the program is sold out. For a cabaret stage, this combination of a central location and nearby parking is particularly relevant, as the audience often comes directly after work, from the surrounding area, or spontaneously to an evening event. The location in the city center is therefore a real advantage that is also reflected in search terms like directions and parking. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/anfahrt/))
The opening hours are also geared towards a lively event operation. The website states that the office is always staffed on Thursdays from 12:00 to 18:30, and the box office is also reachable by phone on event days starting at 18:00. Additionally, there is a network of pre-sale locations, including the house box office, Main-Echo, the theater box office of the city theater, Zigarren-Stenger, and Schreibwaren Fleckenstein. This is practical for visitors who prefer to buy tickets on-site or want advice in advance. It also shows how strongly the Hofgarten maintains its regional ties. Not everything operates solely through a single online shop but through multiple sales channels that cater to different habits and target groups. Therefore, those visiting the venue quickly notice that both digital and analog pathways are taken seriously here. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/oeffnungszeiten/?utm_source=openai))
Seating, Hall Plan & Capacity
Regarding the seating plan, the most important information is clear and very pleasant for many visitors: The Hofgarten primarily has free seating. According to the terms and conditions, by purchasing a ticket, one acquires a seat but has no claim to a specific seat or to multiple adjacent seats. This has advantages if one arrives flexibly or plans the evening rather spontaneously. At the same time, it means that the character of the venue remains intentionally approachable and does not function like a stiff large arena. The box office opens one hour before the performance begins, and for last-minute visitors, availability can be inquired by phone between 18:00 and 19:00. Therefore, those searching for seating plans, best seats, or available remaining tickets find a system here that resembles a lively theater rather than an anonymized event hall. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/agbs/))
The capacity is flexible and depends on the seating arrangement. On the rental page, the Hofgarten mentions about 30 to 200 people, depending on the occasion, seating type, and organizational setup. For visitors, this means: The venue can feel very intimate when used for small formats and can simultaneously accommodate a considerable group when a larger event takes place. Additionally, the technical and spatial equipment includes a professional lighting and sound system, grand piano, beverage counter, ventilation system, and the possibility of blackout. Bistro tables and chairs are available, and additional furniture can be organized upon request. This combination of adaptable room structure and technically clean implementation explains why the Hofgarten works for a wide variety of stage formats. It is neither an impersonal multi-purpose hall nor a cramped small room but a deliberately designed cultural space with a clear function. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/mieten/?utm_source=openai))
Another practical feature is the connection to Ristorante Da Claudio. According to house rules, table reservations are only possible in connection with a restaurant visit, and up to a maximum of 50 seats. Reservations are generally not available on Sundays. This also fits with a venue that is service-oriented but should not be forced into a rigid ticketing system. Therefore, those planning an evening there should pay attention to ticket availability early on and not rely on spontaneous seating requests. At the same time, this structure ensures that the atmosphere in the hall remains open and that visitors can focus on what matters: the stage, text, music, and direct contact with the audience. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/agbs/))
History, Orangery & Atmosphere
The Hofgarten is culturally closely connected to the Aschaffenburg Orangery. City and tourism websites describe the place as the old orangery in the eastern part of Schöntalpark, where the Hofgarten Kabarett is now located. The building dates back to the 18th century, and in 1998, the cabaret was opened after extensive renovations by Urban Priol. This historical foundation makes the place so exciting: no arbitrary event space was put into operation here, but an architecturally and historically significant structure was developed into a performance venue. For the visitor, this is immediately palpable, as the path into the house almost feels like a transition from the park landscape into a concentrated stage space. The surroundings are quiet, green, and urban enough to remain conveniently accessible. ([mein.aschaffenburg.de](https://mein.aschaffenburg.de/kabarett-im-hofgarten/?utm_source=openai))
The official and municipal communication highlights not only the history but also the quality of the space. Excellent acoustics, modern technical equipment, and flexible seating are mentioned. This is not just a nice addition for small arts and cabaret but a real location factor. Texts, punchlines, and musical nuances unfold much better in a space with good speech intelligibility than in any arbitrary hall. This is precisely why the Hofgarten is so well suited for word-centered stage forms. The venue feels approachable without being cramped and lively without becoming hectic. The fact that the stage is also open to young talents adds an important aspect to the profile: it is not only about established names but also about discovery and development. ([mein.aschaffenburg.de](https://mein.aschaffenburg.de/kabarett-im-hofgarten/?utm_source=openai))
This special atmosphere also explains why the Hofgarten has a high recognition value in Aschaffenburg. For many visitors, it is a place where one not only sees a city but experiences it culturally. The location in Schöntalpark, the historical orangery, the mix of gastronomy and stage, and the clear focus on cabaret and small arts together create a complete picture that is regionally anchored and at the same time capable of connecting on a supra-regional level. This is precisely why terms like photos, history, orangery, and special atmosphere appear so frequently in online searches: the building itself is already part of the experience. ([tourist-aschaffenburg.de](https://tourist-aschaffenburg.de/en/discover-explore/places-of-interest.html?utm_source=openai))
Renting Rooms, Technology & Gastronomy
In addition to regular performances, the Hofgarten can also be rented for private and business occasions. The official rental page mentions corporate parties, anniversaries, weddings, customer events, meetings, and private celebrations as typical uses. The venue not only provides the space but also assists with organization and program design if desired. For many organizers, this is an important advantage because they do not just book an empty space but receive a place with cultural competence, gastronomic connection, and existing technology. Those looking for an event space usually do not want to start from scratch. This is where the Hofgarten excels with a structure that combines experience, stage, and service. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/mieten/?utm_source=openai))
The technical equipment clearly supports this profile. According to the website, there is a professional lighting and sound system, a grand piano, a beverage counter, blackout options, and a ventilation system. Bistro tables and chairs are already available, and additional furniture can be organized. This means in practice: the space is suitable not only for classic cabaret evenings but also for readings, corporate events, and private celebrations where acoustics, presentation, and atmosphere should work together. Additionally, there is a gastronomic cooperation with Ristorante Da Claudio, which takes care of catering and decoration if needed. This creates a coherent overall offer of space, technology, and catering that is not easily interchangeable in the region. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/mieten/?utm_source=openai))
For visitors and organizers, this results in a clear picture: The Humorbrigade Hofgarten GmbH is not only the operator of a stage but also the guardian of a versatile cultural venue in the heart of Aschaffenburg. The Hofgarten connects history with the present, fixed points of contact with flexible use, and a concentrated program with a hospitable infrastructure. Those looking for tickets find a clear pre-sale and a regularly maintained schedule. Those arriving reach the venue centrally and park nearby. Those renting the location receive a space with equipment, service, and character. This completeness makes the Hofgarten one of the most notable addresses for cabaret and small arts in the city. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/vorverkaufstellen/?utm_source=openai))
Why the Hofgarten is so Popular in Aschaffenburg
The Hofgarten is popular because many of the things that visitors appreciate in good cultural venues come together here: proximity to the stage, a manageable hall, a clear artistic line, and a location that can be reached without much effort. The city marketing and tourism sites do not describe the venue by chance as an important place for cabaret and small arts in Aschaffenburg. Regularly, well-known names from the German-speaking area perform on stage, while there is also room for new formats and younger talents. The current program, with a mix of cabaret, comedy, podcasts, political stage, and special formats, shows that the Hofgarten does not remain stagnant but continues to develop. Especially in a time when many people consciously seek special live experiences, this mix is a strong argument. ([mein.aschaffenburg.de](https://mein.aschaffenburg.de/kabarett-im-hofgarten/?utm_source=openai))
Additionally, the Hofgarten does not burden its visitors with unnecessary complexity. Address, opening hours, pre-sale, box office, and parking information are clearly findable. The rules regarding seating choice are also transparently formulated: free seating, no claim to a fixed seat, reservations only within a limited framework. For visitors, this is understandable and fair. For search engines, these pieces of information are valuable because they answer real user questions. Therefore, terms like program, tickets, parking, directions, seating plan, opening hours, pre-sale, and capacity are not just SEO keywords but the actual decision factors for a theater or cabaret visit. The Hofgarten answers these questions with a clear, consistent appearance. ([hofgarten-kabarett.de](https://hofgarten-kabarett.de/agbs/))

This is a great hotel. Dinner was wonderful as I had ordered gratinated goat cheese. Although there were very few options for vegetarian food, I loved this. But it is overcrowded, and that's why we had to wait a long time to get our order. Overall a good hotel.
