The Goldbach Sports Hall Weberborn is a municipal sports facility located at Weberborn 28 in 63773 Goldbach. The site is part of the local sports and club life and is listed in various association and club sources as a playing and training hall. Those looking for photos, address, schedule, directions, or events will find a compact overview of verifiable information about the hall here. Unlike a classic concert venue, the sports hall does not host a permanent cultural program, but rather serves for changing sports uses, championship games, training sessions, club events, and occasional tournaments.
The name of the hall varies slightly depending on the source. The market of Goldbach refers to it as the Sports Hall Weberborn, while sports associations use the names Sports Hall Goldbach, Sports Hall Weberborn Goldbach, or Sports Hall Am Weberborn. The central address remains Weberborn 28 in Goldbach. In the local club environment, the hall is particularly associated with handball, table tennis, badminton, and wrestling. A publicly confirmed spectator capacity, a complete seating plan, and a regularly published event calendar are not provided in the available sources. Therefore, visitors should check specific game dates, entry times, parking options, and hall rules with the respective organizer or the market of Goldbach before visiting.
Goldbach Sports Hall Weberborn Photos and First Impression
The search query Goldbach Sports Hall Weberborn Photos is primarily aimed at visitors, sports clubs, and organizers who want to get an impression of the building and its surroundings before an appointment. Various entries with image references or photographs of the sports hall exist on the internet. However, a central, detailed, and officially maintained photo gallery from the market of Goldbach is not recognizable. Therefore, the available images differ in scope, recency, and perspective. Some representations focus on the exterior view, while others show the hall area, its use in sports operations, or the surroundings at Weberborn.
When searching for images, it should be noted that several sports facilities exist in Goldbach. In addition to the Sports Hall Weberborn, the Goldbach School Sports Hall, the TV Sports Hall on Mühlstraße, and other sports fields and club facilities are also mentioned. A photo with a general designation like Sports Hall Goldbach does not automatically show the hall at Weberborn. The clear assignment is best achieved through the address Weberborn 28, the municipal designation Sports Hall Weberborn, or the association-specific hall number.
For visitors, photos are particularly helpful when they show the main entrance, access, possible side areas, and the surroundings. However, reliable statements about current signage, access, or parking areas should not be derived solely from images. Exterior shots may be older, and sporting events change the use of the surroundings. Information about accessibility should also not be solely derived from a photograph. An entry at Hürdenlos describes the Sports and Cultural Hall Weberborn with information about entrances, changing rooms, showers, and individual accessibility features. For specific requirements, a direct inquiry is still recommended.
The hall appears in the available sources less like a representative event arena and more like a functional sports facility for local and regional club operations. This is precisely its character. The images and entries represent a hall where regular training, youth promotion, league games, and tournaments take place. Anyone wishing to photograph the Sports Hall Weberborn or publish images should pay attention to the rights of depicted individuals and obtain the consent of the club or organizer in advance for indoor shots during operations.
Sports Hall Weberborn Goldbach: Address, Phone, and Municipal Classification
The official municipal overview from the market of Goldbach lists the Sports Hall Weberborn at the address Weberborn 28, 63773 Goldbach. The market names the hall together with other sports facilities in the municipality and provides information for inquiries or rentals of municipal sports facilities. As a general contact option for inquiries about rentals, the phone number 06021 5006-20 is provided. Simone Jung is listed as the contact person. This information relates to the municipal sports facilities management and does not necessarily pertain to the organization of individual games or tournaments.
For direct hall contact, sports and association sources list the phone number 06021 453874. In other schedules, the number 06021 53168 appears for the Sports Hall Weberborn. The different phone numbers may relate to various responsibilities, older data statuses, or different hall designations. Therefore, anyone needing information at short notice should first contact the market of Goldbach or the respective club and not rely solely on a single external directory entry.
The Sports Hall is registered as a venue in several sports databases. The Bavarian Table Tennis Association lists the School Sports Hall Weberborn at Weberborn 28 and assigns it to the game operations of DJK Goldbach. In the handball sector, the Sports Hall Weberborn Goldbach appears as its own hall with the hall identification number 19118. The Hessian Badminton Association or the relevant club administration also names the Sports Hall Am Weberborn as the venue for TV 1897 Goldbach. These entries show that the address is established not only municipally but also in regional sports traffic.
The designation School Sports Hall may indicate that the hall is located in the vicinity of school or municipal infrastructure. However, this does not automatically imply that every event is publicly accessible. Many dates are training sessions or association games with internal club processes. Public spectator dates, entry rules, and possible admission prices are usually published by the respective club or association. For neutral location information, the address, municipal responsibility, and use as a sports facility remain the most important secured key data.
Sports Hall Weberborn Events and Schedule
The Sports Hall Weberborn is primarily a venue for games and training. A single, permanent program like that of a theater or concert hall is not published. Events arise from the schedules of clubs and sports associations. These include handball games of various age groups, table tennis matches, badminton dates, wrestling events, and regional tournaments. The schedule may change throughout the season and is not necessarily compiled at a single central location.
For handball, the hall is registered in the nuLiga system as Sports Hall Weberborn Goldbach with the hall number 19118. There, match days and encounters are recorded by season, month, and age group. Among the available data, youth games of HSG Aschafftal are documented. The hall is thus also used for youth sports. For visitors, the respective schedule is the most reliable basis to check the date, time, home club, and guest team. A general search term like Sports Hall Weberborn Schedule may, on the other hand, compile results from various associations and playing seasons.
The DJK Goldbach also uses the site for table tennis. In the club and association portal, the School Sports Hall Weberborn, the address, and a hall phone are listed. The schedule information includes matches of the club as well as dates with guest teams. Table tennis events differ organizationally from large hall games: they can encompass several matches simultaneously and often require different spectator and space organization. Binding information about start times, setup, catering, or access is provided by the respective club.
In the badminton sector, the hall is listed as one of the venues for TV 1897 Goldbach. Additionally, the Sports Hall Weberborn has been associated with larger competitions in historical and regional sources. A source regarding the badminton Bundesliga season 2017/18 refers to matches in the Sports Hall Am Weberborn. Such evidence shows that the hall is not exclusively used for local training operations. However, they do not replace a current schedule.
Older tournament records also document the versatile use. In a publication from the Bavarian Skat Association, the Sports Hall Restaurant Weberborn was named as the venue for a skat tournament in 2008. This historical note makes it clear that, in addition to the actual sports operation, social and club-related events could also take place at the site. For current dates, a direct check with the market, club, or association is required, as historical event data do not provide information about current opening hours or regular offerings.
Sports in the Sports Hall Weberborn: Handball, Table Tennis, Badminton, and Wrestling
The strongest connection exists between the Sports Hall Weberborn and regional club sports. In handball, the hall is used for training times and home games. TV 1897 Goldbach distinguishes in its training schedule between the TV hall on Mühlstraße and the sports hall of the market Goldbach at Weberborn. This makes it clear that the hall is integrated into the training routines of various teams. Among others, youth teams and active men's teams are mentioned. The specific use depends on the season, team, and available hall time.
Table tennis is also documented. DJK Goldbach lists the School Sports Hall Weberborn as its playing venue. In a table tennis hall, large grandstands or a concert stage are not the focus, but rather the requirements of competitive sports: suitable hall floor, sufficient space between tables, lighting, and changing facilities. What equipment is actually set up for a specific date depends on the event. For spectators, the atmosphere at league games can be particularly focused and club-oriented.
Badminton expands the profile of the site with a sport that requires flexible hall use both in training and organized competition. The club TV 1897 Goldbach is listed in the association administration with the Sports Hall Am Weberborn as its venue. The hall can thus be part of a regional network of venues where teams use several halls depending on the season and date. For badminton events, it is advisable to inquire about court shoes, spectator rules, and possible restrictions on access.
Wrestling is also associated with Weberborn 28. In the wrestler database, the competition venue Am Weberborn is linked with the address, phone number, and AC Goldbach. Historical tournament data mention district championships and youth competitions in Goldbach. Wrestling brings its own event structure, which differs significantly from handball or badminton. The competition area is set up centrally, while spectators often take their seats around the mat. Whether a specific tournament takes place in the Sports Hall Weberborn should be checked based on the current announcement.
The diversity of sports makes the hall particularly relevant for local club life. It is not a building tailored to a single discipline, but a common place for various clubs and age groups. Children and young people encounter organized sports here, teams hold their home games, and regional associations use the site for competitions. This changing use shapes the character of the sports hall more than a fixed event program.
Sports Hall Weberborn Directions, Location, and Parking
The destination address for navigation is Weberborn 28, 63773 Goldbach. In sports databases, the hall is sometimes listed only as Weberborn without a house number. For precise route planning, the full address of the municipal entry should therefore be used. Goldbach is located in the Aschaffenburg district in Bavaria. A historical tournament announcement mentions the highway exit Aschaffenburg-East or Goldbach on the A3 for arrival. This information comes from an older event but can serve as a guide for regional access.
For visitors arriving by car, it is important to distinguish between the hall address and actually available parking spaces. The municipal sports facilities overview names the Sports Hall Weberborn but does not publish a detailed parking map or binding number of parking spaces. No publicly confirmed regulations for buses, event parking, or reserved areas are included in the available information. Therefore, visitors should arrive early at heavily attended games and pay attention to signs on-site. Whether parking spaces are free, subject to fees, time-limited, or reserved for specific users can vary depending on the event.
Anyone attending an event should also consider that several sports facilities exist in Goldbach. The TV Sports Hall on Mühlstraße and the School Sports Hall at Wingert are independent destinations. Automatic navigation to the search term Sports Hall Goldbach may therefore select the wrong hall. The combination of Weberborn 28 and 63773 Goldbach reduces this risk. For team games, it is also advisable to compare the hall designation in the schedule, especially if a club uses multiple home venues.
For pedestrians and users of public transport, no complete, officially bundled travel information is visible directly on the sports hall page. Connections, stops, and current timetables should therefore be checked daily through the regional transport association. For evening games, it is advisable to plan the return trip in advance, as sports events in smaller towns are not always associated with a dense schedule. For people with mobility impairments, specialized entries provide information on access, changing rooms, showers, and individual accessibility features. However, the specific accessibility should still be confirmed by phone before visiting.
The safest travel planning combines three pieces of information: Weberborn 28, 63773 Goldbach, and the respective event. Additionally, consulting the home club is helpful if a tournament expects many teams or spectators. Clubs can often provide more precise information about which entrance is open, whether there are entry checks, and where visitors are allowed to park. This information is often event-dependent and not permanently stored on the internet for a municipal sports hall.
Facilities, Hall Plan, and Practical Tips for Visitors
A publicly accessible, detailed technical description of the Sports Hall Weberborn with a seating plan, number of seats, field dimensions, or room capacity is not provided in the available sources. Therefore, no fixed spectator capacity should be published. An official seating plan is also not available. This is not unusual for a municipal sports hall, as the interior layout can change depending on the sport and event. Handball, badminton, table tennis, and wrestling have different requirements for flooring, playing area, safety distances, and spectator areas.
However, the entries for the hall mention various practical areas. A Hürdenlos entry describes the Sports and Cultural Hall Weberborn with information about the main and side entrances, changing rooms, showers, and accessibility features. Among the short details available there, clear door widths and notes on partially available accessibility are mentioned. Such information is valuable for event planning but should be cross-checked with the operator before a specific visit. A single source may represent a specific survey time and not account for every subsequent structural change.
At a handball game, one typically expects a free playing area and a sports spectator area, while in table tennis, several tables and barriers may be set up. Badminton requires free courts and a suitable hall height; at a wrestling tournament, the mat is at the center of the event. These examples describe the different usage logics but are not a binding equipment guarantee for every date. Organizers can close areas, set up additional equipment, or arrange spectator seats differently.
Visitors should only bring clean sports shoes to sports events if this is explicitly allowed or required. Many halls have rules regarding the hall floor, the use of drinks, and the bringing of food. Whether bag checks, photography bans, or special regulations for strollers apply is determined by the respective organizer. In youth games, it is also important to note that photo and video recordings of minors are subject to special protection requirements.
Anyone wishing to inquire about using the hall for their own event should prepare as specific information as possible: desired date, time, sport, expected number of participants, required fields, changing rooms, technology, and possibly spectator operations. The market of Goldbach can provide information about occupancy, responsibility, and rentals as a municipal entity. The publicly stated capacity is not equivalent to a free event capacity. A binding room plan can only be made after reviewing the specific usage concept.
History, Club Life, and Significance of the Location in Goldbach
The Sports Hall Weberborn is closely linked to the regional club landscape. Its significance can be explained less through a single opening date or a prominent architectural feature, but rather through the continuous use by different clubs. Handball teams, table tennis players, badminton teams, and wrestlers rely on the same location. This makes the hall a daily meeting point for training, competition, youth work, and interaction.
Historical sources confirm that the site has been used for events for many years. A publication from the Bavarian Skat Association documents a memorial tournament in the Sports Hall Restaurant Weberborn in 2008. Other entries mention wrestling tournaments in Goldbach and refer to the competition venue Am Weberborn. In the badminton sector, the hall has been mentioned in connection with higher-level competitive play. These pieces of evidence show a long-term sporting and social use of the site, without deriving a single official construction or opening date from it.
For youth, the hall is particularly important. The handball training times of TV 1897 Goldbach lead youth teams of various age groups to the site. Sports halls of this kind provide clubs with the necessary infrastructure to offer children and young people regular training and competitive experience. The use often spreads over the afternoon and evening. This creates a changing rhythm of school and club sports, youth games, adult training, and weekend events.
Club life also shapes the social function of the hall. A league game is not just a sporting encounter but often a meeting point for families, coaches, referees, helpers, and supporters. Additional organizational tasks arise during tournaments, such as setup, catering, results service, and supervision. The historical mention of a sports hall restaurant illustrates that the site was sometimes perceived as a social event venue beyond just hall operations.
Goldbach has several sports facilities and an active club environment. Therefore, the Sports Hall Weberborn should not be viewed in isolation. It is part of a municipal infrastructure where different halls accommodate various clubs and sports. Its strength lies in the functional connection of everyday sports and regional competition. Thus, visitors to the hall usually do not experience a tourist attraction in the classic sense but rather an authentic place where local sports are visible and organized communally.
Planning a Visit: Tickets, Entry, and Current Information
For the Sports Hall Weberborn, there is no central, permanently published ticket shop like that of a large event hall. Whether admission is charged, whether there is an evening box office, or whether access is free depends on the respective sport, league, and event. Regular training sessions are usually not associated with a classic ticket. However, admission regulations may apply for tournaments or higher-level games. This information is usually available in the announcement, schedule, or on the club's website.
The event date should always be checked immediately before the visit. Sports games can be postponed, canceled, or moved to another hall. The distinction between the Sports Hall Weberborn, the TV Sports Hall on Mühlstraße, and other municipal halls in Goldbach is particularly relevant. Providing the home club and hall address protects against misdirections. For association sports, the official schedule portals usually provide the most reliable information regarding time, age group, and match.
For families with children, it is advisable to check entry, seating options, and duration. In youth games, the hall may be more crowded with teams and parents, while multiple games may take place consecutively during tournaments. A generally available seating plan is not available. Therefore, visitors should not expect fixed numbered seating. Depending on the setup, there may be seating areas, standing areas, or spectator zones organized by the club.
Photography is often a topic at sports events. The search query for photos shows a great interest in information, but indoor shots during a game can touch on personal rights and association rules. Special restraint is required for children and young people. Anyone wishing to take pictures for a club page, report, or commercial purposes should obtain permission from the organizer in advance. Public exterior shots of the hall are distinct from this but may also raise legal questions regarding individuals, license plates, and property areas.
For current information, three places are particularly useful: the market of Goldbach for municipal questions and rentals, the respective sports club for training and home games, and the responsible association for official schedules. This division is clearer than searching for a single general event page. Visitors thus receive information from the entity that is actually responsible for the respective area.

Goldbach Sports Hall Weberborn | Photos & Events

Very nice place. Cozy, spacious. Everything you need is there. Changing rooms and toilets are clean. A dream for any small European city. WiFi is lacking. I would love a café that’s always open. We are here for the Eintracht football camp. Very satisfied with the conditions, coaches, technology, and the air.
