Fasanerie Aschaffenburg | Beer Garden & Opening Hours
The Fasanerie Aschaffenburg is a place where park, gastronomy, and leisure do not compete with each other but together create a special atmosphere. Those who come here are usually looking for not just a restaurant, but a quiet spot in the greenery, a friendly beer garden, good cuisine, and an excursion destination suitable for families as well as couples, groups of friends, or small celebrations. The city of Aschaffenburg describes the Fasanerie as a historical park or park forest; in the municipal overviews, it is listed with 63 hectares and understood as a nature-friendly managed recreational area. The current website presents the gastronomy of Herz & Hopfen as an inn and beer garden, with regional cuisine, seasonal offerings, and a clear invitation to simply arrive and linger. That is exactly why the most common search queries are so close to everyday life: opening hours, menu, parking, playground, lunch menu, curling, and the question of whether it is currently open. The Fasanerie is not staged as a loud event center but as a green meeting place with character, where one can shape the visit in various ways: first walk, then eat, afterwards sit in the shade, or stay a bit longer with children. Opening Hours, Menu, and Reservations
In the search queries for the Fasanerie Aschaffenburg, opening hours and menu are at the top, and this is easily understandable: Those planning a spontaneous visit want to know when the inn is open, when the beer garden starts, and how lunch and dinner fit in there. Officially, the inn opens on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Tuesdays are a day off. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is continuous opening from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM. According to the website, the beer garden is open daily from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, also with Tuesday as a day off. This covers both the classic lunch menu and a relaxed evening outdoors. For spontaneous guests, it is important that the menus are not only available on-site but also online: There is an inn menu and a beer garden menu, allowing one to get an idea of the cuisine before the visit. The site also refers to reservations by phone and email, which is especially practical for groups or family celebrations. ([fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de](https://www.fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de/?utm_source=openai))
Content-wise, the cuisine fits the location: According to the official description, the Fasanerie relies on regional and seasonal ingredients, along with Bavarian classics and modern interpretations of dishes. This is relevant for seekers because terms like restaurant, lunch menu, or menu actually express a need: Many want a straightforward but harmonious dining experience with clear cuisine, short distances, and an environment that feels like an excursion rather than a quick stop. The website emphasizes this character with the inn, beer garden, and winter terrace as a cohesive offering. For guests, this means that one does not just receive a plate of food but a calm setting with quality of stay. Those coming with a larger group can plan directly through the reserved inquiry; the site explicitly points out that for larger groups or celebrations, it is better to contact directly so that seats, food, and processes can be coordinated. Particularly interesting is that the premises include both the fireplace room for up to 20 guests and the forester's room for about 40 to 50 people. This makes the Fasanerie attractive not only for everyday life but also for private occasions. ([herzundhopfen.de](https://www.herzundhopfen.de/?utm_source=openai))
Beer Garden, Playground, and Family Outing in the Green
The beer garden is one of the strongest reasons why the Fasanerie Aschaffenburg is searched so frequently. Even the official homepage describes the place as a spot to linger after a walk through the park or a family outing. Particularly striking is the green setting: The beer garden is located in the middle of the park and under old trees, allowing for natural shade and a relaxed atmosphere to come together. This is important for families because the place not only offers food but also allows for a stay. The website explicitly mentions that there is a playground for children while adults can sit back and unwind. This combination of shade, play area, drinks, and down-to-earth cuisine explains why the Fasanerie is more of a day destination for many people rather than just a restaurant stop. In the municipal family and leisure documents, the Fasanerie is also described as a nature-friendly managed park forest, which is connected to other green and movement offerings in the city area. This creates a clear picture: The Fasanerie is part of a larger recreational network and offers exactly the break one needs after a walk or a small round through the park. ([fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de](https://www.fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de/?utm_source=openai))
Especially charming is that the beer garden is not designed for hustle and bustle. The description on the website speaks of hearty snacks, classic beer garden dishes, and a place where one can leave everyday life behind. This is relevant for keyword analysis because terms like beer garden, playground, park, and photos usually seek exactly this image: What does it look like there, is it family-friendly, is it shady, can one go with children, and is the visit worthwhile even without a big evening program? The answer is clear: Yes, because the Fasanerie combines the quiet park location with a clear beer garden logic, meaning benches, drinks, uncomplicated food, and stays under trees. The place is also suitable for a short stop because the opening hours are broad enough to cover spontaneous afternoons or early evenings. Those planning the Fasanerie as a destination for an outing can easily extend the visit: first through the park, then eat, then have a drink or a dessert. This mix of nature and gastronomy is what makes it appealing and sets the Fasanerie apart from many classic establishments in the city. ([fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de](https://www.fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de/?utm_source=openai))
Events, Live Music, and Curling
The Fasanerie is not only day gastronomy but also a place for events on a small to medium scale. The official website has its own event page with current events in the beer garden, and it explicitly points out live music in a nature-friendly environment. The fact that the weather plays a role is also transparently communicated: In unfavorable conditions, dates can be postponed. This is important for visitors because the Fasanerie thus has an open, seasonal character and does not function like a rigid event venue. Especially in summer or during transitional periods, this creates a form of program that fits well with a beer garden: music in the afternoon or early evening, a relaxed atmosphere, sitting outside, eating something, drinking something, and experiencing the park as a backdrop. The search query for programs or events can therefore be answered realistically: Those who want to know what is currently happening should keep an eye on the event page because current dates are published there. The Fasanerie shows that gastronomy and event space can be thought of together without losing the calm character of the place. ([fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de](https://www.fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de/events?utm_source=openai))
Another very characteristic term from the keyword list is curling. There is a local media report from FRIZZ that describes that the new tenants Herz & Hopfen have set up a curling rink in the beer garden. The article classifies the rink as a seasonal offering and emphasizes that it is suitable for teams, groups, families, and social evenings. For the Fasanerie, this is a remarkable addition because the location thus offers a winter leisure idea beyond the classic beer garden that fits well with its location in the green. Such offerings make a place significantly more versatile in the search: In summer, the beer garden attracts, while in autumn and winter, a curling rink can provide an additional reason to come together. At the same time, the Fasanerie remains within the framework of its identity with this type of offering, as it is not about loud event tourism but about shared experiences with food, drinks, and casual movement. Together with the rooms for celebrations, this creates a complete picture that ranges from spontaneous visits to planned team evenings. Directions, Parking, and Location on Bismarckallee
Those searching for parking, a map, or directions usually want to know one thing: How to get there, and where to park the car? The Fasanerie is located at Bismarckallee 1 in 63739 Aschaffenburg; the municipal documents regarding the forestry office and emergency meeting points also locate the area in this vicinity and mention a parking lot at the forestry office on Bismarckallee 1. The description of the meeting point mentions access via Bismarckallee and Gneisenaustraße towards Fasaneriegaststätte/Forstamt. This is helpful for visitors because it allows one to understand the location not just as a gastronomy address but as part of a larger park and forestry structure. The Fasanerie is therefore not an isolated building by the roadside but a destination within a green area that connects pedestrian paths, park character, and stay areas. For those searching for parking or a map, this information is crucial: The access does not lead into a cramped city center but into a park-like area where one already associates the stay with the journey there. ([fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de](https://www.fasanerie-aschaffenburg.de/impressum?utm_source=openai))
Also, the location in Aschaffenburg is part of the appeal. The municipal materials describe the Fasanerie as a local recreation area and historical park forest, meaning a place that is deliberately preserved for relaxation, nature experiences, and short breaks. This means practically: Those visiting the Fasanerie are not just going for food but to an urban area where green spaces and paths set the tone. Especially for families, walkers, or guests seeking a quieter atmosphere than in the center, this is an advantage. In keyword analysis, it stands out that the search for park, parking, and map does not occur by chance but shows a real usage need. The Fasanerie is a destination that one wants to look at more closely beforehand to ensure a stress-free visit. In this regard, the combination of a clear address, official location by the city, and the impression of a surrounding park forest is convincing. Therefore, those looking to combine an uncomplicated journey with green spaces and a gastronomic break will find a coherent solution here. History, Park Forest, and Rooms for Celebrations

In the municipal overviews, it is listed as one of the historical parks of the city; at the same time, the documents emphasize that visitors today experience the place as a nature-friendly managed park forest. This description is important because it explains why the Fasanerie feels so different from a normal city garden or a purely commercial outdoor area. The park is part of a long development, which in the municipal publications is traced back to a history starting in 1779. The historical park overview of the city also names the Fasanerie with 63 hectares of area. Together, these details create the image of a large, grown green space with a recreational function and landscape character. Therefore, those searching for Fasanerie Park or history find a place here that is more than just a culinary address: It is part of the landscape and urban history of Aschaffenburg. ([aschaffenburg.de](https://www.aschaffenburg.de/dokumente/Kultur-und-Tourismus/Parks_und_Gaerten.pdf?utm_source=openai))
At the same time, the gastronomy makes sensible use of this special environment for celebrations and smaller events. The website mentions the fireplace room with space for up to 20 guests and the forester's room for about 40 to 50 people. There are also references to birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms, confirmations, family celebrations, and corporate events. This is a strong signal for all those looking for a location in Aschaffenburg but do not want an anonymous event hall. The Fasanerie offers a setting where celebrations can feel natural and cozy rather than sterile. The cuisine also supports this profile: regional ingredients, seasonal dishes, and a selection of beers provide the appropriate culinary background. This closes the circle between search intention and real offering. Those searching for new tenants, restaurant, lunch offering, menu, or celebration location will find in the Fasanerie a versatile place that combines traditional hospitality with green space, family-friendliness, and historical park character. This mix makes the Fasanerie in Aschaffenburg so adaptable for everyday life, outings, and special occasions. ([herzundhopfen.de](https://www.herzundhopfen.de/?utm_source=openai))

The Fasanerie Aschaffenburg has not only gastronomic but also historical value.

Great place by when it come to food, management leaves a lot to be desired. Last time I was there they ran out of chicken and meat early. Today we had to wait for an hour for chicken to cook from 18:30 till 19:30 and then it was salty as sea.. but atmosphere was really great would visit but will eat elsewhere beforehand.

We chose the Fasanerie for our annual get together and had reserved a table. When we arrived our table wasn't free, but the staff immediately took care of things and our table was available. The food was very delicious, well prepared and fresh. The prices fair for what you got. A wide variety of refreshments are offered and price wise also fair. We can only recommend this location when you are in Aschaffenburg on a warm sunny day and you don't want to sit anywhere in the city but rather in the midst of nature. The staff very attentive and the manager very friendly and constantly checking if all was in order with his guests. We will come again!
