Curtains up for your new theater adventure
On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Puppet Ship Mainaschaff opens its doors to everyone who not only wants to watch theater but also wants to help shape it. The taster session with info evening combines theater atmosphere, community engagement, and practical insights into the world of puppet and marionette theater.
Experience the theater atmosphere and community
Magical stage moments are created at the Puppet Ship through many hands. Whether puppetry, technology, set construction, repairs, entry, bar duties, or organizational tasks: every activity contributes to the production. The evening is aimed at people who bring joy to performing arts, craftsmanship, creativity, and communal cultural work.
A glimpse behind the scenes
A theater production begins long before the first performance. Set design, figures, lighting, technology, and precise processes interconnect before the curtain rises. The taster session makes it tangible how ideas, craftsmanship, and dramaturgical instinct create a vibrant stage experience.
An open evening for curious theater lovers
No prior knowledge is required. Everyone who wants to get to know the Puppet Ship Mainaschaff, try out various tasks, or become part of an engaged theater community is welcome. Participation is free and non-binding; registration is requested.
Conclusion: Co-create theater
The taster session and info evening provide direct access to stage art and show how much creativity, teamwork, and passion are behind a theater performance. Anyone wanting to experience theater atmosphere up close and perhaps discover a new heartfelt hobby should not miss this evening at the Puppet Ship Mainaschaff.
