Dive into a Brave Picture Book World with Reading Dog Lola
On Thursday, October 15, 2026, children aged 4 to 8 are invited to a heartwarming family experience at the Hösbach Library Center focused on reading, wonder, and crafting. Reading Dog Lola will accompany young guests through a picture book story about a brave owl.
Picture Book Cinema with Children's Laughter and Big Eyes
In the picture book cinema, the story is read together and presented in a visually engaging way. The combination of listening, visuals, and the special atmosphere with Reading Dog Lola provides a child-friendly approach to books and sparks curiosity about language, stories, and new characters.
Creative Learning Fun After the Story
After the picture book cinema, the children will create a suitable craft idea. While doing this, they playfully train their fine motor skills, concentration, and creativity. It is recommended that children bring their own scissors and a glue stick if possible. A small fee of 2.00 Euro will be charged for crafting materials.
Age-Appropriate, Family-Friendly, with a Focus on Safety
The event is aimed at children aged 4 to 8 years and combines reading promotion with a creative learning experience. The manageable duration of one hour supports age-appropriate participation and provides families with quality time in a calm library environment. The picture book cinema is freely accessible, while registration is required for the crafting session.
A Special Afternoon at the Library
Reading fun with Reading Dog Lola combines child development, imagination, and a sense of community. The little visitors experience a story not only with their ears but also with their eyes, hands, and through interaction with other children. The event is now fully booked.
Conclusion: A Loving Invitation to Read and Explore
The family event shows how much joy good stories can bring. Picture book cinema, Reading Dog Lola, and group crafting make the afternoon a child-friendly family experience filled with learning fun and creative moments.
