The Aschaffenburg Advent invites you to a festive Advent gala on November 29, 2026, at the Stadthalle am Schloss. The annual event combines orchestral music, well-known Christmas songs, and atmospheric readings into a diverse program for the pre-Christmas season.
The evening will be musically curated by the Collegium Musicum Aschaffenburg. The orchestra provides a sonorous framework for the gala, bringing festive music to the historic venue at the castle. The program is complemented by the Piccolini children's choir and the youth choir Ars Antiqua. The participation of the two choirs lends the Advent evening a special intergenerational atmosphere.
Festive Music and Reflective Moments
At the center are orchestral works and Christmas songs that set the mood for the Advent season. Between the musical contributions, readings provide calm and contemplative moments. This creates a program that brings together different facets of the pre-Christmas season: shared listening, festive sounds, and literary impulses.
The combination of orchestra, children's choir, youth choir, and readings makes the Aschaffenburg Advent a versatile cultural experience in Aschaffenburg. Visitors can look forward to an event that combines musical tradition with the vibrant youth work of the participating choirs.
